Just wanted to share this with you all. Its a comic series from the 50's! Its called "The Vault of Horror", created by William Gaines and Al Feldstein and only ran for 29 issues. Together they created "Tales from the Crypt", "The Vault of Horror", and "The Haunt of Fear". The target audience for this comic were GIs returning from WWII, who were in search of more intense genres as opposed to crime fighters, and masked villains.
